Certified Nurse Midwife (Part Time)
My Family Birth Center | Layton, UT
We’re a small, independent birth center — not a hospital system, not a corporate practice. Just a close-knit team that believes birth is a natural process deserving of real time, real attention, and real relationships. We’re looking for a Certified Nurse Midwife to join us part-time and help us keep it that way.
What the role looks like
- Schedule: 8 hours/week, Thursdays
- Pay: $50–$70/hour, based on experience
- Start date: July 15
- Location: On-site, Layton, UT
You’ll provide prenatal, labor, birth, and postpartum care within your scope of practice — but because our patient volume is intentionally small, you’ll actually get to know the families you’re caring for instead of cycling through a packed schedule. Expect real continuity of care, not assembly-line visits.
Day to day
- Conduct prenatal and postpartum visits, physical assessments, and individualized care plans
- Counsel clients on family planning, lactation, and newborn care
- Assist at births alongside our team
- Collaborate with physicians and other providers to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate documentation
What we're looking for
- Current CNM certification and active (or Utah-eligible) RN license
- Experience required — this role is not open to new graduates or students
- Comfort working in a small, team-based, home-like care environment
- A genuine passion for physiologic, family-centered birth
