10 Gift Ideas For the Pregnant Woman in Your Life

Are you trying to find the perfect gift for the pregnant woman in your life? With the holidays coming up, it can be hard to figure out what she will like. We have put together a list of amazing gifts that she is sure to love!

1. Pregnancy Pillow

It’s very common for women to struggle with sleep during pregnancy. Whether that be because of pregnancy-induced insomnia or just not being comfortable enough. Pregnancy pillows are great at helping pregnant women get comfortable when getting ready for bed.

Wedge pillows can also be a great gift to give as they can help alleviate heartburn when lying down.

2. A Good Pair of Slippers

Pregnancy is the time for comfortability. Get her the gift of comfortability this year with a nice pair of slippers. They are easy to put on, warm, and they have a bit more ease so if her feet grow, they will still fit.

3. Prenatal Back Massage

With pregnancy comes aches and pains. Help the special pregnant woman in your life relax by getting her a gift certificate for a prenatal back massage. When she comes home, maybe you can give her an even more relaxing day by massaging her feet.

Keep in mind, not everyone likes to be touched. If that is the case with the pregnant woman in your life, maybe she would be more receptive to an at-home spa day. Pamper her with face masks (make sure they are pregnancy safe!), a lush robe, relaxing music, and a warm bubble bath.

4. DIY Gift Basket

Can’t think of just one thing to give her? Why not give her all the things! Specialize a gift basket for her by including things you know she will like. Here’s a few ideas on what you can include:

  • Lotion
  • Comfy socks
  • Chocolate
  • Eye mask for sleep
  • Pregnancy-safe essential oils
  • Bath salts
  • Chapstick

5. Maternity Clothes

While your special pregnant woman’s belly grows, her clothes will likely stay the same size, although they may stretch some. Gift her some new maternity clothes.

These clothes were made with a pregnant belly in mind. The shirts and dresses commonly have ruching on the sides to highlight and accommodate a growing belly. Bottoms often have a flap that goes over the belly and are made with a stretchy fabric so they can grow with her.

If she already has plenty of maternity clothes, think about giving her a labor gown. These are gowns that are made for comfortability and accessibility during labor. Plus, they look cute!

6. Belly Casting Kit

Want to get her the perfect sentimental gift? Buy her a belly casting kit! These are kits you can buy online or in-store that you use to create a mold of her pregnant belly.

7. The Perfect Water Bottle

Anyone who has ever been pregnant before can vouch for how important the right water bottle really is. As you can imagine, it is important to drink 64-96 ounces of water during pregnancy, but it’s easier said than done.

Sometimes the problem isn’t how much you should be drinking, but rather how you are drinking. The perfect water bottle can help her get the right amount of water every day.

Try to find out her preferences. Does she prefer a straw, nozzle, or open cup? Would she like one with ounces listed on the side to track how much water she is consuming? Can you customize it to have her name or a nice picture on it?

8. Hot Chocolate Kit

Really, this is a great gift for anyone who likes hot chocolate. Though if the pregnant woman in your life was a coffee drinker prior to pregnancy, they may appreciate this gift even more.

Not every drink is about the taste, sometimes it’s about the ritual. Coffee drinkers usually have a ritual they do when they prepare their coffee and while enjoying each sip. However, during pregnancy you have to be mindful of how much caffeine is being consumed. A hot chocolate kit is a great way to allow them to experience their ritual again, but without as much caffeine.

Some fun things to include in the hot chocolate kit are:

  • Marshmallows
  • Peppermint sticks
  • Chocolate chips
  • Whipped cream

9. Foot Bath Spa

Pregnancy can take a toll on the feet. Give her a gift to help alleviate the aches and pains that come along with her growing belly. Bonus points if you can set it up and put it away once she is all done using it.

10. Weighted Blanket

If she loves to get cozy with heavy blankets like quilts, try getting her a weighted blanket. These help create an incredibly relaxing environment for sleep. They can help ease stress and anxiety, while offering a full night’s sleep with minimal disruptions.

No matter what you decide to get for the pregnant woman in your life, she will love it. Because it’s not the gift that really matters, it’s who is behind the gift and the effort they put into getting it.
